Adaptec™ HotConnect™ 8920 Retail Kit
The Adaptec® AHA®-8920 Retail Kit enables you to connect up to 62
1394-enabled devices to a PCI-based computer. The kit also includes two types of
1394 cables and HotClick™, a software utility used to capture still images
from any digital camcorder equipped with a 1394 interface. The images can then
be used with any image editing or special effects software that works with
standard bitmap (.bmp) files.
System Requirements:
- PC with Pentium processor
- Available PCI slot
- 16 MB of memory
- Windows® 95 or Windows NT® (4.0 or later)
- PCI video display adapter, minimum 16-bit color
- Still image editing software capable of working with .bmp files (e.g., Adobe
Photoshop)
- DV camcorder equipped with 1394 interface (e.g., Sony DCR-VX700, Canon Optura).
