DV.now is a PCI card for the PC that was primarily developed to make light
work of the most time consuming part of the video editing process - selecting
and recording clips to hard disk, trimming clips to the required length and
arranging them on a storyboard. But that doesn't mean DV.now can only be used
for storyboarding, the high quality digital video input and output means it can
also be used as a hardware basis for regular digital video editing.
The supplied Capture Assistant software helps you transfer your digital video
to hard disk in native digital video format and without generation loss. Batch
video capturing is possible with this software, as well as a single frame
capture for producing high quality graphics. Rough edits can be made directly in
the Capture Assistant software via a simple drag and drop interface, and of
course previews on your PC screen are instantaneous!
If you are new to video editing or video capture, then the FAST Wizard will
guide you through the software in a few easy steps. And for those who want to
perfect their video, Adobe Premiere is included in the Package to add that
final, professional editing touches.

FAST.forward software has been specifically developed by FAST for performing the

the hard disk, pre-editing them to the desired length and arranging them in a
storyboard. Practical features include automatic scene detection for moving to
the beginning and end of a scene.
