Dual Internal SATA Drive Mount Kit for Mac G5
The G5 SATA Dual Drive Mounting Kit provides a compact, affordable solution to
increasing the storage needs of any G5 Macintosh.
Using the simple to install
bracket and cables provided in the kit, mounting two new drives takes only a few
minutes. Cool operation is also provided with the unique aluminum bracket
design.
Support for older PCI G5’s and newer PCI-e G5’s is provided with two
different optional SATA Cards.

Drive Mounting Bracket & Screws
The SATA Double Drive Bracket holds up to two standard 3.5 in. SATA Drive
Mechanisms.

SATA 4 Pin Power Adapter Cable
The custom SATA Power Adapter Cable is installed between the G5's DVD drive and the current
power cable, simply patching into the existing power to supply power to the two
SATA Drives.

SATA DATA Cables
Two SATA Data Cables are supplied with the kit. The right angle side plugs into
the SATA hard drive and the straight connector plugs into the SATA card.

Pro, Power Mac G5 Dual-Core
with Mac OS X 10.4.x or later
Not compatible with G5s having PCI-X slots. If you are not sure what type of slots you have, check your manual.
